We are a mother/daughter team located in Northern Virginia. All of the potions that you purchase are made by hand with our own honey and beeswax, herbs grown and collected from our own gardens, and supplemental ingredients from Mountain Rose Herbs, a widely respected source for herbs world-round, began by Rosemary Gladstar.
Erin Fairlight is a certified permaculturalist (regenerative agrarian) and a flower farmer for Purcelleville's Field of Flowers. She has been a practicing herbalist since 2002 when a surprise (miraculous) pregnancy necessitated ending the pharmaceutical regiment that she had followed for fifteen years to manage an auto-immune disease. In learning herbal responses to heal a body riddled with violent consequences (aka side-effects) of prescribed medication, while seeking to strengthen the future hope of a little child, she learned that she was following in the footsteps of her grandmothers who had treated their families with the plants that surrounded them for hundreds of years.
Myri Reevkahleh is the passion-force that created Hermyone's Potions. After attending potions classes that Erin taught for years Myri began crafting her own healing salves, teas, and bath add-ins and giving them as gifts to family and friends. This created the need for this current website, as once you use real products made with care and real ingredients, who wants to go back?
